Belonging to the Plantaginaceae family, it has been traditionally valued for its therapeutic properties in treating earaches and toothache conditions. In homoeopathy, Plantago major is primarily used to address conditions such as ear infections with earache, tinnitus, and insomnia cause of nicotinism. It is also employed for its effects on nervous affection, skin conditions, and urinary discomfort.
