Natrum cacodylicum is a significant homoeopathic medicine prepared from the sodium salt of cacodylic acid, a compound containing over 54% metallic arsenic. Despite its past reputation as a “non-poisonous” tonic for phthisis, clinical experience has revealed its potent physiological action, especially on the respiratory system, mucous membranes, nervous system, and skin.
